IRIS Help - ID Check

This is the main IRIS logon screen. Each IRIS user has a unique Library ID, or a shared Library ID, and a corresponding password. The system uses these to determine which IRIS functions the user is allowed to access.

Typing in your Library ID and Password and clicking on the LOGIN button moves you to the Main IRIS Index.

When entering your password a series of asterisks (*) will appear instead of the corresponding keyboard keys as a security measure. The CLEAR button provides a quick way of clearing the current login details.

Users without a Library ID may only gain access to IRIS to perform searches, and should log in as "guest", leaving the password field blank.
